Website design for ngos & foundations

NGO Website Design that makes trust visible

Donors, volunteers and grant reviewers all visit an NGO website with one question: is this organisation real, and does the work actually happen? I design NGO and foundation websites that show programmes, places and people clearly, with reports and registration details easy to find.

What an NGO website must get right

From grassroots organisations in Udaipur district to community foundations, the aim is the same: make trust visible and make it simple to help.

  1. Programmes explained plainly

What you do, where, for whom and since when. One page per programme, written so a CSR manager understands it in a minute.

  2. Registration and compliance details visible

Registration, 80G, 12A and CSR details where applicable, plus annual reports in a simple documents library.

  3. Stories with real photos

Field photos and short stories from the communities you work with, used with consent, carry more weight than any slogan.

  4. A clear way to help

Donate, volunteer or partner, each with its own simple path. No hunting for a bank account number in the footer.

NGO websites from my portfolio

Real clients, real sites. Some are mid-rebuild, so a live link may still show the older version.

NGO Website Design: common questions

Straight answers to what owners in this industry usually ask me first.

Can people donate online through the website?

Yes. A payment gateway can be added with preset amounts and an 80G receipt request field. Some NGOs prefer to start with UPI and bank details, which also works.

Can the NGO website be in Hindi and English?

Yes. I use fonts that render Devanagari cleanly and build both versions so each can be found on Google.

How do we keep the website updated after launch?

With the admin panel your team can post updates, add photos and upload reports without calling a developer.

Do you help with CSR-ready content?

I structure programme pages the way CSR teams read them: problem, approach, location, beneficiaries and reports. The facts and numbers come from you.

One line is enough: what you do, where, and what the website should achieve. I reply personally with a plan and a fixed quote.
